Yes. Every room is self-catering. Deluxe Hotel Rooms have a kitchenette, and the suites and apartments have full kitchens. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel has 73 rooms across four types. Deluxe Hotel Rooms are 49 square metres, among the largest hotel rooms in Brisbane, and sleep two. One Bedroom Suites are 55 square metres with a separate bedroom and sleep up to three. Two Bedroom Suites are 65 square metres and sleep up to four adults, or two adults and three children. Sub-Penthouse Apartments are 130 square metres, with a master bedroom and ensuite plus a second bedroom, sleeping four or five depending on the configuration.
Not at all. The hotel sits within walking distance of the Queen Street Mall, South Bank, the Botanic Gardens and the riverside precincts, and Central Station and the CityCat terminals are both close by.
A few options. The Airtrain runs to Central Station, which is four blocks from the hotel, roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride. A taxi direct from the airport is usually around $50 to $60. We can also book you a transfer with Ozscott Limousines, at a flat rate of $60.50 for a sedan or approximately $80.50 for the bus service. Ozscott transfers need to be booked 24 hours in advance, so send us your flight number and arrival time and we'll arrange it. Payment is made directly to Ozscott on the day.
Guests can park at the Uptown Centre at a discounted rate of $30 per 24 hours, per entry and exit. Park in the spaces marked Royal Albert Hotel on level P1 (Green), keep the ticket you're issued on entry, and present it to reception on departure to have it validated. Please note the car park has a 2 metre height limit.
The Royal Albert is at 167 Albert Street, on the corner of Albert and Elizabeth Streets in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. The Queen Street Mall, the Myer Centre, the casino and the city's dining and entertainment precincts are all within a few minutes' walk.
Yes. A valid credit card needs to be presented on arrival for a $200 pre-authorisation, which applies to all room types. We also take a copy of guest ID for security. The name on the credit card and the ID need to match, and cash cannot be used for the pre-authorisation.
We accept Visa and Mastercard with no surcharge, and American Express with a 2% surcharge. We do not accept cash, and we're unable to accept buy now pay later services such as Afterpay, Zip, Humm or Openpay. BPay is also unavailable.
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before 1pm on your arrival date. After that point the full accommodation charge applies. You can cancel online using your booking reference and surname, or by calling reception on (07) 3291 8888.
Yes. For stays of more than one night we take a $200 deposit at the time of booking. For a single night, the full accommodation charge is taken at the time of booking. The balance is payable on arrival.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability on the day. Ask at reception or call ahead and we'll let you know what's possible.
Yes. Our reception team is on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so there's always someone to let you in, answer a question or take a call on (07) 3291 8888.
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day, so a late arrival is never a problem. Just let us know roughly when to expect you.
